It’s podcast day! And this week we’re talking all about that (annoying) buzz word - ‘branding’. It makes us small business owners break out in hives doesn’t it? We automatically think expensive logos, matching colour palettes, polished social media posts and fancy graphics. Urgh.
Well, the good news is, you don’t need any of that to build a memorable brand. You don’t need to be the loudest person on social media to be noticed. You can actually build a beautiful brand if you’re quiet and shy and just prefer to keep things low key.
And do you know why? Because a brand is SO much more than the visuals. To keep it simple - your brand is simply your personality.
In this podcast episode, I’m telling you why you don’t need to be loud, bold or always online to create a successful brand.
So if you're a creative female entrepreneur who prefers to stay behind the scenes, you’re gonna feel so much better about all this branding stuff after you’ve listened to this episode! We are exploring what branding really means outside of your logo and colour palette and how to create connection through your story and tone of voice so you can build your brand in a gentler, more authentic way - one that you are comfortable with.
And it’s not hard. Or expensive. Everything you need to do it is inside you already.
So whether you're just starting your small business or trying to figure out how to have an online presence without exhausting yourself daily like a performing monkey…then get the kettle on, grab and notepad and press play.
And if you love the episode or find it helpful, please do send it to one other person who will find it useful too! And don’t forget, I have a bonus podcast episode out on Friday for all my paid Substack subscribers where we’ll be delving even deeper into the troublesome topic of branding as a small business owner.
If you enjoy what you hear and want to find out more about my 1:1 session dedicated to helping you build your brand, you can find it under the Pick n Mix section on my website.
As always, thank you for listening!
