Everyone makes branding sound like a big, shiny, complicated thing. And honestly, I used to believe them.
God knows how many logos I had when I first started Vintage Twee in 2010. It was at least 4, maybe 5. I thought having the perfect logo and a co-ordinated colour palette were THE most important things I needed to create my ‘brand’.
But what I’ve learned over time is that real branding - the kind that actually connects with people - is quiet. It's human. And it’s so much simpler than we’re led to believe.
So this week, I’ve recorded a special bonus podcast episode (better late than never, eh!) where I share:
The 10 things I wish I knew about branding when I first started
What really matters when it comes to building a brand that feels like you
Why being quiet isn’t a disadvantage - it’s actually a brand superpower
